During the lactation there are some oscillations in the goat milk composition. In accordance to mating season of goats, the lactation is related to certain time periods. In our study we controlled the hygienic and chemical composition of bulk tank milk in three periods. The goal of our study on bulk tank milk samples from goat farms is to point out that ther are major differences in chemical composition of milk during lactation and to point out the influence of milking hygiene on the total number of individual bacterial cells (IBC) in bulk tank milk samples. Our results show following: the SCC in goat milk depend on the period of lactation, it increases from first to third period of lactation; the increase of IBC in our research does not depend on the period of lactation, can be attributed to the unsatisfying hygiene of milking, because it was found not to be accompanied with existence of subclinical mastitis and udder secretion disorders; chemical parameter that oscillates at least between lactation periods is the percentage of lactose, and it indicates that there is no significant appearance of udder secretion disorder or subclinical mastitis.
