Grape-wine truncheon plantation is carried out after basic and additional soil cultivation. Depending on the type of soil, terrain arrangement and configuration, grape-wine truncheon plantation can be carried out in multiple ways. One of plantation methods is based on digging holes with tractor drill, which can vary in depth and crossing section. When using this method of plantation, grape-wine truncheons are manually placed into previously dug holes, and manually hoarded. Another grape-wine truncheon plantation method is based on application of semi-automatic planter, with help from workers manually placing truncheons into the device section. Research was made during 2006, at the production areas of Cemovsko polje vineyards, in Podgorica suburb (Montenegro). Grape-wine truncheon plantation of Vranac sort was carried out with semi-automatic planter VAGNER in the machinery aggregate with 75kW of power.
