According to General solution of Belgrade (Serbia) sewerage system, prepared by Public Communal Company Belgrade Water and Sewerage in 1977, construction of collector INTERCEPTOR Usce-Veliko Selo was planned in order to collect sewer and partially storm after from area of the Central sewerage system. The Interceptor would collect wastewater from area of the river Sava left bank, transfer it to the river right bank where additional wastewater would be added from Mokrolug drainage basin, Topcider drainage basin, Zeleznik and Belgrade old city area as well as wastewater from the drainage basins of Bulbuder creek, Dorcol, Karaburma and Visnjica, transferring all that to the wastewater treatment center Veliko Selo.
