In order to study the dynamics of abundance of microbial indicators of sanitary condition of soil in the industrial and urban area of the selected plot at various distances from the primary sources of pollution – APP (aluminum Plant Podgorica): experimental field and - 100 m, experimental field II – 300 m, experimental field III – 500 m, experimental field IV – 700 m, experimental field H – 900 m; was chosen as a control land outside the urban area, which is typical of a given area before the start of intensive industrialization and urbanization – 2100 m. Area of each plot was 25 square m. Soil samples were taken from three different sites of sample plots at a depth of 0-10 cm. The samples were collected during September 2004, 2005 and 2006. The soil was carried out determining the number of microorganisms that indicate the sanitary condition of the land (E. coli, Clostridium perfringens, thermophilic bacteria and nitrification bacteria). Microorganisms indicators of sanitary conditions are an important group of soil microbial communities examined land of the city, from which it can be argued that it was polluted and very polluted. High numbers of nitrification bacteria certificate is an intensive process running autopurification land.
