The contribution is aimed at the observation of technical state of new biodegradable lubricating oil type UTTO (Universal Transmission Tractor Oil) which works under operation condition. It is very important to observe the parameters of biodegradable oil because these oils have specific properties. There are a lot of methods for this purpose. Such methods were chosen which are smart, unassuming for operation and they can be used under operation condition of agricultural tractor. The methods which was described in this article is using for the test of new biodegradable oil under operation conditions. These methods can be equally used for the common operation too. The parameters which we have to observe are as follow: kinematics viscosity, total acid number, water content and the content of contamination.
