Drought and overmoisture and their relationships with some spring seeding field crops yields, corn, sugar beet, soybean and sunflower, have been analyzed. Climate nomogram was made, whereon rainfall per hydrological years and growing seasons were presented, while for the summer months moisture provision indeces for June, July and August were calculated using an adapted procedure of Hergreaves (1992). Relationships between yields and rainfall were assessed by the analyses of regression and correlation, for summer period, growing season and hydrological years. It is established that weather conditions are changeable, drought occurs regularly and overmoisture periods occasionally appear with extremely heavy rains. Average yields are low, vary in wide range in some years and correlate with amount and distribution of rainfall. Latterly, there was more and less rain than recorded in past, therefore in future period extremely dry, as well as extremely humid years and subperiods in a single year could be expected, as a consequence of climatic change.
