The economic results of the industrialization of the agriculture, which is highly technologically developed, are based on the specialization of the production, the use of the large amount of energy on all reproductive levels, intensive use of the mechanization, chemical resources etc. More significant improvement of the global competitive pressure and intensification of the productive processes in the agriculture, make particular negative effects on the processes and the state of the environment. At the same time, this global model of the production led to manifestation of the series of bad ecological, social and economic consequences. Because of the current state, the questions about the choice of the future strategic directions of the agricultural development in the context of preserving natural resources and the protection of the environment are suggested lately. The general strategy of the environment protection in the circumstances of the intensive industrialization of the agriculture, should be based on the maintenance and improvement of the fundamental ecological processes, biological systems, preserving of the genetic fund and biodiversity, all with the aim of securing the stability of eco systems. This approach demands the necessity of the implementation and improving of the integral concept when it is about the adjustment of the agricultural development policy and the dimension of the protection of the environment. The agricultural sustainability as a concept and developing vision, where the character of the interdependence of the economic and ecological dimension of the development is apostrophized, has become more dominant in the function of accomplishing the aims of preserving the natural resources and the environment. The complex implications of the agricultural production development and the pollution of the environment condition more comprehensive accomplishment of sustainable development principle in its all strategic segments. The paradigm of the sustainable development should affirm the practical concept which is used to solve the ecological problems appeared because of the intensive development of this branch of agriculture. The model of sustainability must become the basic guideline of the strategy of agricultural development, where the future of the protection of the environment will be observed differently and in much wider context than before.
