The efficacy of the insecticide Aim 10% was evaluated for two seasons at New Halfa Research Farm against the African bollworm, H. armigera, in tomato. The insecticide and its standard Sumicidin 20% reported a significant reduction of the African bollworm infestation than the untreated control. The yield of the tested insecticide was comparable to its standard and significantly higher than the untreated control. Malafos 57% was compared with its counterpart Malathion 57% and Danitol 20% as standard against the whitefly, B. tabaci, in tomato for one season. The results showed a similar significant effect whether on the pest population or the yield in comparison to the counterpart and the standard
