Tow insecticide Formulations were evaluated as seed treatment to control the central shoot fly and covered kernel smut disease by ELNayer H. Suliman in season 2007/08 at Northern Gedarif State: 1- Imidal 70 WS contains 70% imidacloprid; 1- (6-chloro - 3 - pyridylmethyl) - N - nitroimidazolidin - 2 _ ylideneamine .It is chloronicotinyl insecticide with acute oral LD50 for rats 450 mg/kg, toxicity class WHO II. 2- Gaucho 600 FS + Raxil 120 FS , a mixture of the insecticide imidacloprid 60% and the fungicide Tebuconazole ; (RS) - 1- p - chlorophenyl - 4 , 4 - dimethyl - 3 - (I H - 1,2,4 - triazol - 1 - ylmethyl) pentane - 3 - ol. The acute oral LD50 for rat is 4000 mg/kg (toxicity class WHO III)
