Historical structures of agricultural landscape (HSAL) represent a mosaic of small-scale arable fields and permanent agricultural cultivations. As main sources of local biodiversity, they are linked to balks and margins of cross fields tracks, original eadows and pastures. The aim of the project Research and maintaining of biodiversity in historical structures of agricultural landscape of Slovakia is inventory of HSAL. The contribution is introducing methodology, proposed for complex inventory of HSAL over the area of whole Slovakia.
