98.8 % of Slovakias territory in which 87,7 % of inhabitants are living is occupied by rural space. A predominatly rurral region character occupies 59,5 % of territorial extension with 2,38 million inhabitants (44 %) living in here. In the economic structure of rural regions predominate physical entities, which are presented by small and medium firms before legal entities.
