The variety Kechlibar is developed by the method of intervarietal hybridization at the Agricultural institute – Karnobat. The new variety have a high productive potential. Its yield is by 26,5% higher on the average standard. It is characterized by high winter resistance, lodging resistance and tolerant to diseases. The new variety is with high mass of 1000 grain 35.8 g, protein content – 14.5% and high kernel content higher than 75%. Kechlibar variety is suitable for forage and food production.
