During the period 2005-2008 hybrid combinations of 15 stable mutant lines with two testers were analyzed regarding several quantitative traits. As a results of the study are made the following conclusions: Seven of the analyzed hybrids have comparatively high yields, close or even higher than the standard. The differences between them are minor and not proven by mathematical methods. With the greatest practical significance for the selection were XM 2001 106xXM 568 1, ХМ 99 1118хХМ 568 1 and ХМ 2001 602хХМ 568 1, which have high yield and high performance index. The other hybrids have reasonable lower yield compared to the standard and their differences are with varying degree of proof. In terms of stability and plasticity of the yield, the hybrids are with medium and high degree of variability depending on the conditions of growth. Higher coefficients of variability determine the plasticity of the hybrids related to the ability of the latter to give high yields under different growing conditions. The reaction of the hybrids to the growing conditions under the indicator moisture contents at the time of harvesting is analogical. All experimental hybrids have high coefficients of variation, i.e. high variability exceeding 20%. The hybrids studied have longer vegetative period until silking compared to that of the standard and low amplitude of variation. The influence of the environmental conditions on the formation of this trait is insignificant.
