SENSIBLITY OF SOME PLUM CULTIVARS TO RED LEAF SPOTS (Polystigma rubrum Pers. D.C) | Чувствителност на някои сливови сортове към червени листни петна (Polystigma rubrum Pers. D.C)
2012
Todorova, S., Plum Experimental Station, Dryanovo (Bulgaria)
In 2010 and 2011 in the region of the town of Dryanovo have been accomplished some observations to establish the sensibility of ten plum cultivars to the fungous disease Red leaf spot (Polystigma rubrum Pers. D.C). The obtained results allow to make the next conclusions of the observed ten plum cultivars. The most sensitive to the red leaf spots (Polystigma rubrum Pers. D.C) are the plum cultivars Opal, Anna Schpatt, Kyustendilska sinia sliva and Mirabell de Nancy, as this peculiarity is manifested very strongly during 2010, since in the spring it had more favorable conditions for the disease development. The data from 2010, when the red leaf spots manifest at stronger degree of attack in comparison with 2011, enhance the many good resistance of the plum cultivars Guliaeva and tanley. The selected cultivar Guliaeva in the Plum Experimental Station in the town of Dryanovo supplements to its characteristic an important biologic quality – the very good resistance to red leaf spots, what determines it as suitable cultivar for a biologic fruit production.
