Supplementary lighting of greenhouse and decorative plants during growing in full artificial conditions appears an important factor of plant photoculture. In natural environment solar radiation is received by plants in adequate dozes; but photosynthetic active radiation (PAR) play an important role for green-house cultures, cultivated all year long with artificial light application. Therefore, along with necessity of cultivating areas widening, increases demand of systems of automatic management of PAR with high biological efficiency. The article justifies the structure of automatic light controlling based on the analysis of the influence of power, spectral composition and parameters of pulsed radiation on the growth rate of the green house plants. The optimal parameter ranges of photo-synthetically active radiation for the acceptable growth of luciphile plants are defined. Spectral curves of photosynthesis and artificial luminous sources (lamps) are displayed. Dependence of photosynthesis and leaf growth on light intensity is presented. Simple scheme of light and dark phases of photosynthesis is suggested. Calculation of technical characteristics of lamps is made, main parameters of artificial light-emissive devices are substantiated.
