In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus the most spread and dangerous diseases of growing sugar beet (Beta vulgaris var. saccharifera) plants are leaf spot disease, ramularia, phomosis and powdery mildew. The physiological processes are violated in the infected plants, the photosynthesis becomes worse, breathing, metabolism and sugar consumption are increased, the accumulation of organic acids is increased, sugar content and sugar beet root yield is decreased. In course of the study there was analyzed efficiency of fungicides with various active agents for sugarbeet protection against Cercospora blight and influence of applied fungicides on technological properties and safe keeping. The researches on studying the biological and economic efficiency of fungicides Bumper super 490 EC (propiconazole, 90 g/l + prochloraz, 400 g/l) and Rex DUO, SC (epoxiconazole, 18,7% + tiofanat metal, 31%) for leaf spot disease of sugar beet control in sugar beet crops were carried out. It is determined that sugar beet treatment by these fungicides significantly decreases leaf spot disease of sugar beet incidence and development in comparison with the control, increases sugar beet root yield, and storage ability.
