In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus in course of the research there were studied the main trends of the system of government regulation of soil fertility management. As a result of the research it was revealed that the basic priority in the agrochemical research should be the formation of conditions providing production of the maximum, economically proved efficiency of arable lands with the preservation and increase of soil fertility level. In the system of state regulation of soil fertility management it is possible to allocate some major directions: 1. A system of agro soil monitoring of soil fertility, providing the control over their condition; 2. Acid soil liming which was based on the exact control over a condition of soil acidity on each field or a working plot. It makes it possible to use mineral fertilizers effectively under separate agricultural crops; 3. Application of organic fertilizers; 4. A system of mineral fertilizer application; 5. Application of micro fertilizers. In the Institute for Soil Science and Agrochemistry therewere developed structures and specifications on production of a new class of micro fertilizers on a chelate basis. Realization of the specified directions at their full state support has provided considerable growth of soil fertility and their production ability increase. Now the main task of agriculture is to obtain the level of modern European technologies on all basic agricultural crops. This problem can be realized only under condition of soil fertility level increase, first of all, humus content and basic nutrition elements to their optimum values.
