In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented results of studying harmfulness viruses of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum) and cucumber (Cucumis sativus) diseases in green house conditions. It was shown that the influence of viral infection was expressed in the affect of foliage, fruit, inhibition of plant growth and development that led to a decrease in their productivity and product quality. There was presented mathematical formulas for the qualitative calculation of indexes of development, disease harmfulness and merchantability of fruits. By means of revelation in the form of mosaic marking and leaf deformation, as well as by means inhibition of growth and development of tomato plants on 16,6-21,4% and cucumber crops on 13,3-33,8% depending on a hybrid and intensity of disease development.
