In course of the research there was studied the efficiency of vitamin В usage in combination with methionine in diets of polar foxes which were from 45 till 170 days of life. For young animals growing feed mixes, consisted mainly from slaughterhouse by-products (soft and meat and bone) and fish with addition a small amount of compulsory slaughter veal, beef or pork. A limit quantity of forages was included in the feed mix. For the most part there were cereals - oat (Avena sativa), wheat (Triticum aestivum), barley (Hordeum vulgare), rye (Secale cereale), and also bean cultures and fat-and-oil industry by-products – presscakes and protein meals. As a result of realized research it was revealed that it is necessary to enrich the ration for growing of young polar foxes of late birth terms with group В vitamins in the following quantities: B1 – 0.36 mg, B6 – 0.60 mg per 1 mj of exchangeable energy. It is necessary also to take into account a content of nonreplaceable amino acids in feeds. It should be a minimum of 620 mg of total number of methionine + cystine, and tryptophane – 190 mg per 1 mj.
