In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented results of a field experiment on influence of nitric fertilizer depending on density of stalks standing on fibre flax (Linum usitatissimum) productivity. It was established that in the conditions of sowing of early-ripening variety Levit 1 after grain crops on average loamy soil (1,70-1,75% of humus content) with average supply with elements of nitric fertilizer in a dose of 15-20 kg/ha of active substance with stock density by harvest date of 1550-1800 stalks per square mere it was possible to obtain fiber productivity of 1,9-2,0 t/ha of total flax fibre and 1,6-1,7 ton/ha of long fibre. Application of an optimal dose of nitrogen fertilizer made it possible to obtain long fibre of high quality with 12-13 number. Sales at the world market of such flax fiber yields will make it possible to obtain profit of 1100-1190 USD per 1 hectare of flax sowings and profitability of 45-50%.
