The study aimed to determine difference between the degrees of satisfaction on the local community, (services and utilities, housing) Between the villages of the study, as well as to identify the degree of satisfaction with the housing and the degree of satisfaction on the services and utilities and identify the most important factors affecting the degree of satisfaction on the local community. To achieve the objectives of this study, a field work was carried out at Al-Kasr and Abu Mezhoud Area, Matrouh Governorate, and selected a systematic random sample of 160 householders. The period of primary and major data collection lasted for three months starting from November to January in 2007 /2008.
