To study on adaptability and stability of grain yield of barley genotypes in warm and semi-warm conditions, this experiment performed by 13 advanced barley lines at three location namely Gachsaran, Moghan and Gonbad dyring three years from 2006-2007 to 2008-2009 using randomized compelet block design with 4 replications. Each genotype was planted in 6 rows with 7.03 meters length and 17.5 cm spacing from each other. During growing season, agronomic data was recorded from some important morphophysiological traits. Simple and combine analysis of variance on the grain yield were done and mean comparisons performed by least significant difference(LSD) at 1% and 5% probability levels. Grain yield of three years in Gachsaran station was ranged from 1428.45 kg/ha for L3 Akrash/6/Arar//2762/Bc-2L-2Y ICB94-0841-0AP-1AP-0AP to 2828.79 kg/ha for L6 Sfa02/3/RM1508/Pro//W12269/4/Hml02/ArabiAbiad //ER/Apm ICB92-0926-0AP-36AP-0AP followed by lines of L5 (sister line of L6) and L10 with grain yield of 2697.66 and 2810.45 kg/ha respectively. Mean comparisons of grain yield at 1% and 5% probability levels showed that lines of L6 , L10 and L5 that have the highest grain yields, were in class A, lines of L4 and L7 were in class B, lines L1 and L2 were in class D and other lines were in similar calss of check. In Moghan station, grain yield was ranged from 2697.917 kg/ha for L1 BKFMaguelone1604/3/ Apro//Sv.02109/Mari/4/Giza119/5/Arar/19-3//W12291 ICB94-0675-0AP-1AP-0AP with with decrement of 21.69% compared to checks to 4160.139 kg/ha for L5 Sfa- 02/3/RM1508/Pro//W12269/4/Hml-02/ArabiAbiad//ER/Apm ICB92-0926-0AP-2AP- 0AP and increment of 20.76% in yield compared to average of two check (Izeh and Mahoor). However L6 (as sister line of L5) with grain yield of 4078.058 kg/ha ranged after L5. Mean comparisons showed that lines of L5 and L6 were located in calss A, L4 was in classB, lines of L1 and L3 were in class E and other lines were located were located in similar class of checks. In Gonbad station, L3 Akrash/6/Arar//2762/Bc-2L- 2Y ICB94-0841-0AP-1AP-0AP with grain yield of 2821.889 kg/ha and decrement of 24.35% in grain yield compared to check had the lowest grain yield than other lines. While L12 (Mahoor as check) with grain yield of 3459.28 kg/ha had the highest grain yield. Mean comparisons of grain yield in this station, showed that lines of L2, L3, L5, L7, L9, L10 and L11 were in class E, L4 ,L5 and L13 were in class D, line of L12 was in class B and other lines were in same class of check. Results of combined variance analysis of grain yield indicated that all effects were significant at 1% probability level. Line of L3 with grain yield of 2320.35 kg/ha and decrement of 20.14% in grain yield compared to check had the lowest grain yield while L6 with grain yield 3345.27 kg/ha and increment of 15.13% in grain yield relation to check had the highest yield followed by L5 with 3308.38 kg/ha grain yield. Mean comparisons of grain yield in 3 location and 3 years of study revealed that lines of L6and L5 and L4 were in classA and L1 and L3 with the lowedt yield were in class E, while other lines have same class of checks. Increments in grain yield of L6 and L5 relation to mean of Izeh were 17.59% and 16.29% and relations to Mahoor were 12.78% and 11.54% respectively. Finally, according to present results and stability parameters, lines of L5 and L6 could be recomanded as high yielding lines for release and farm condition.
