Cllection and identification of Ixodidae Ticks ( hard ticks) Popu lation in domestic Ruminants (sheepand goat )in kohkilouyeh and Boyer a hmad Province . This survey Was done between feb 2004 up to May 2008 on 3000 animals in kohki louyeh and Boyer ahmad province, nuber 3000 ticksfrom Ixodidae family Colle cted and identified . the most abundant type genus RhipicePhalus . With 35/8 percent ( Sanguineus % 20/9,and , Turanicus %14 /9 ). And the Second Was Boophilus . annulatus With 26/8 Percent and Hyalomma With 19 percent ( anatolicum %8/7 and detritum %6/8 and marginatum %3/5) and Dermacentor. marginatus With 11/5 Percent and Haemaphysalis . sulcata With 6/9 . Percent Were Lowest fre quency on sheep and goats,of kohki louyeh and Boyer ahmad the maximum percentage of in festation in , animals ( sheep and goat ) occured in spring and summer and last Winter (Tropical area) and percentag of in festation sheepand goat of province Was % 64 (sheep % 49 and . goat %15).
