Determination of nutritive value and non-starch polysaccharide content of grain from Elites lines of triticale in poultry nutrition

In this study, chemical composition (dry matter, crude protein, crude fiber, ash, crude fat, calcium, phosphorus and nitrogen-free extract) according to standard methods (AOAC, 2000), sugar and total starch with chemical method and kit, resistant and non-resistant starch with kit method, some anti-nutritonal substances with kit method , metabolizable energy with biological experiments, excreta viscosity and starch apparent digestibility of 13 elite varieties of triticale was measured.Results of chemical compounds showed, the average rate and range changes of dry matter, crude protein, crude fiber, ash, crude fat, calcium, phosphorus and nitrogen-free extract, respectively were 93.23 (92.92 _ 93.64), 13.23 (11.8 _ 15.15), 3.8 (2.4 _ 4.4), 1.71 (1.45 _ 1.85), 1.57 (1.35 _ 1.99), 0.162 (0.106 _ 0.366), 0.30 (0.2 _ 0.34) and 80.30 (78.73 _ 82.01) percent. crude energy was equal to 4116.88 (3989.3 _ 4187.3) kcal/kg and amounts of sugar, total starch (chemical method) and total starch with kit method of feed, fecal total starch l, feed resistant and non-resistant starch, sum of them respectively were, 6.73 (5.61 _ 7.68), 58.15 (50.48 -68.04), 77.29 (72.68 _ 84.87), 4.63 (1.14 _ 10.88), 2.29 (0.48 _ 3.2), 27.34 (17.74 _ 37.07) and 29.63 (20.2 _ 41.3) percent And the results of measurement of starch thirteen experimental hybrid using kit method and chemical separately, showed that the amount of starch obtained using the kit method was more than to the chemical method. so The reason probably due to the use of enzymes in the kit method and thereby starch digest completely .The results showed that the average and range changes values of anti-nutritional compounds in the thirteen varieties of triticale ; total ß-glucan, soluble ß-glucan, insoluble ß-glucan, total arabinoxylane, soluble fiber, insoluble fiber and total soluble and insoluble fiber were respectively, 0.950 (0.842 _ 1.374), 0.018 (0.006 _ 0.027), 0.931 (0.743 _ 1.358), 3.98 (1.62 _ 6.49), 1.14 (0.41 _ 1.6), 18.75 (16.07 _ 27.35) and 19.89 (16.91 _ 28.41) percent. And the results of measurement of anti-nutritional compounds (total ß-glucan and total arabinoxylane), showed that the total amount of arabinoxylane obtained more than the total amount of ß-glucan so the arabinoxylane made the most important and most anti-nutritional compoundsl in triticale.Metabolizable energy (AME, AMEn, TME and TMEn) among the triticale varieties had significant difference (p0.05). So their average, respectively were 3456.6, 3456.5, 3841.4 and 3841.2 kcal/kg The T8 had Lowest amount of Metabolizable energy (3252.6, 3252.6, 3656.5 and 3656.3 kcal/kg) and T6 had highest (3772.6, 3772.5, 4175.5 and 4176.2 kcal/kg). The results showed that viscosity value of the waste had significant difference among triticale varieties (p0.05). So that the average rate was 1.83 cps so the treatments T4 (1.55 cps) has a minimum and treatments T2 (2.20 cps) has a maximum viscosity of the waste. The results showed that between triticale cultivars in percentage of starch apparent digestibility, were not significant difference (00.0854). So that the average rate was 98.98 percent and treatment T8 (97.83 percent) has a minimum and treatments T1 (63/99 percent) has a maximum value in apparent digestibility of starch.According to the results the experimental treatments T2, T3, T5 and T6 be couse of metabolizable energy and the treatment T8 be couse of Arabinoxylane had superior development than the other varieties, so these varieties are considerable and suggest for use by farmers.
