From technical quality point of view, determining proper time of sugar beet ripening is a key point in managing a sugar beet farm in order to produce high yield and quality. The objective of present experiments was to study and determine the technological and agronomic characteristics of sugar beet ripening in tow different sowing dates and several harvest times. The experiments were carried out in six locations of Karaj, Hamedan, Kerman, Shiraz, Moghan and Dezfol from 2005-2007. Tow sowing dates of early drilling as soon as possible and one month later in each location with four replications and nine harvesting stages, started from late August with tow weeks intervals up to the end of January were used. In each harvest stage, tow rows of 5 m length (C. 50 plants) were harvested destructively. Technological and agronomic traits of sugar beet such as root yield, sugar content, sugar yield, concentrations of sodium, potassium and amino-nitrogen, molasses sugar, white sugar content, white sugar yield, and also storage root length, diameter and weight were determined in each harvest date. All sugar beet traits were subjected to correlation and also regression analysis based on growing degree days (GDD) as independent variable by using SPSS software. The results showed that the single root weight of sugar beet was significantly (P0.01) correlated (R2
