Production of new hybrids and evaluation of general and specific combining ability of sunflower inbred lines and restorers

In order to produce of new hybrids and evaluation of general and specific combining ability of sunflower inbred lines and restorers, 6 inbred lines and 6 restorer were selected in Z004. Aha107f81-108 and AhaI07f81-1Z0 inbred lines were erased caused by multi branch and having pollen, respectively. Finally Z4 fl hybrids were drived in 2004 and were evaluated on RCBD design with 3 replicatin in_ 2005. the results of variance analysis showed that treatments had significant differents for all traits except grain yield. RHa107F81-127/Z*Aha107f81-Z4o, Azargol and'RHa107F81-127/Z* A F81-3o had the greatest Grain yield with 4471,4274 and 4131 kg/ha, respectively. Variance Analysis of combining ability by designII of comestack and robinson showed that general combining ability of restorer and inbred lines for grain yield wasn't significant. Rha107f81-127/2 restorer and Ahaf81-120 inbred had the greatest general combining ability for grain yield. The results showed that Rha107f81-127/2 restorer has good potential to applicate in breeding programs.
