This study was conducted to determine the appropriate irrigation interval and using streptomyces bacterium on yield and yield components of corn cultivar KSC260 .The experiment was laid out as a strip plot design based on randomized complete block with 3 replications in 2009 and 2010 at seed and plant improvement institute, Karaj. Three irrigation regime treatments including 70, 100 and 130 mm evaporation (control, mid stress and high stress) from standard evaporation pan (class A) as factor A and four fertilizer treatments including control (no fertilizer and no bacteria), fertilizer, bacteria + fertilizer and bacteria as factor B. Effect of irrigation was significant (P0.01) for leaf dry weight, leaf area index, leaf chlorophyll index, leaf rolling, leaf senescence, plant height, ear length, ear diameter, biological yield, kernels/row, 1000 kernels weight and grain yield and it was also significant (P0.05) for days to silking, ASI, ear height, steam diameter and ear number but it wasn't significant for days to tussling and anthesis, leaf number, row/ear and harvest index. The effect of bacteria treatments was significant (P0.01) for days to anthesis and silking, leaf number, leaf dry weight, leaf area index, leaf chlorophyll index, steam diameter and ear diameter and it was also significant (P0.05) for days to tussling, ear number, row/ear, 1000 kernels weight but it wasn't significant for ASI, leaf rolling, leaf senescence, plant height, ear height, ear length, biological yield, kernels/row, grain yield and harvest index. The maximum and minimum grain yield were obtained from control irrigation regime and high stress (5649 and 3574.5 kg/ha respectively). Therefore the maximum grain yield cultivar KSC 260. can be resulted from irrigation after 70 mm evaporation treatment with using streptomyces bacterium and fertilizer (nitrogen + phosphor).
