Seeds of lentil varieties K-85 and K-303 were subjected to 5 Kr, 10 Kr, and 15 Kr doses of gamma irradiation and/or 0.005 N-nitroso-N-methyl urea. The varieties differed in response regarding germination, seedling growth, survival, plant height, number of seeds/pod, and test weight, but had a similar response for branching, maturity, pollen sterility, number of pods/plant, number of seeds/plant, and seed yield.
