Some differences were found in the effectiveness of water supply on the yield formation between productive genotypes of the set under study in the modelly stressed and unstressed conditions of water supply. The new breeds SK-5560, Ilona, Viginta, Kosutka, Iris, Sparta, Regina used water most effectively for the grain formulation. In each model pattern of water supply, the negative correlation was confirmed between evapotranspiration coefficient and the grain yield (rx,y=-0.5924 to -0.9420 in dependence on the conditions of water supply in plants), between evapotranspiration coefficient and the number of grains per pot (rx,y=-0.4153 to -0.8541), as well as between evapotranspiration coefficient and the value of harvest index (rx,y=-0.4483 to -0.8541). The selection of productive genotypes of winter wheat according to the level of grain yield, number of grains per area unit and the value of the harvest index leads simultaneously to the selection of genotypes with the higher effectiveness in water utilization on the grain yield formation as the higher performance of genotypes, under comparable conditions, correlates with the higher effectiveness in water utilization on the grain yield formation.
