The results of determining the time when dormancy period for certain groups of plum varieties and forms of different genetic and ecological-geographical origin is over are discussed in the paper. Besides, for the first time aspects of exhibiting the rate of plants' response to the dynamics of temperature regime in autumn and in winter in different years are considered.
