Based on the analysis of total plant production input, determined are the optimum ecological resource-saving technological variants to grow cereal and tilled crops in Donetsk oblast. Studied are intensive, energy-saving, no-herbicide, minimum and zero technology for growing maize and sunflower. Analysis of the variants of energy-saving, minimum and zero technology of winter wheat and spring barley growing revealed, as the most effective, the zero variant of winter wheat growing at a crop yield of 37.8 centners per hectare (against 34.8 on the background of the energy-saving one) and the minimum variant of spring barley growing at a crop yield of 19.2 while 20.8 on the energy-saving one and 18.2 on the zero one. Recommended is a machinery complex as follows: a Great Plains sowing drill including a MF-4 disk harrow, a Brandt sprayer, a Sampo harvester the use of which allows saving up to 20-25 % of fuel and 40 % of labour consumption.
