Authors describe and analize the results of a roadside trees pruning, conducted in two different ways: a) branch shortening, and b) thinning with <<unpruned top>>. Treatment a) cause the growth of a high number of branches in the upper part of the grown, inserted near the pruning cuts, weakly tied to the timber. Whereas treatment b) generates a more regular growth of grown and determines a lower height increment.
