A three-year study was performed on lucerne using the following variants: N, P, K, NP, NK, PK, NPK and the use of 100 kg/ha of N1P205 and K20 per year on alluvium soil of moderate acidity and with medium availability of phosphorus and potassium. After each cut, the trial area was irrigated with 30 l/m using sprinklers. The relation and the yields of the leaves and stems of the lucerne were examined along with the content of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and calcium in lucerne hay. A fertilization variant was recommended based on the results of the experiment.
