Is studied the effect of the use of phosphatic fertilizer on the production of wheat and maize when this fertilizer contains 32% P2O5 (a 1:1 mixture of monocalcium phosphate with bicalcium phosphate), 40% P2O5 (bicalcium phosphate) and 15% monocalcium phosphate. The three fertilizers have been effective in the increase of wheat and maize production, when used on lands with neutral reaction and which are slighty basic. The effect was better when the fertilizer contained about 30% P2O5, which is not only concentrated, but which has 1/2 of the quantity of the substance in the monocalcium form, with a quick effect during the first phases of the plants development.
