Five (5) rations containing different levels of ipil-ipil leaf meal were experimented on five (5) groups of white leghorn layers, H and N strain to investigate the effects of isonitrogenous and isocaloric diets on the external and internal characteristics of table eggs. A total of one hundred eighty (180) layers were used in the study employing the Randomized Complete Block Design of three replications. Egg quality improved with 2.5 and 1.7 percent ipil-ipil leaf meal compared with other levels. Low levels caused growth stimulation of layers while high concentrations of ipil-ipil leaf inhibited growth of layers and temporarily halted egg production for a month after administration of rations.
