The sample size for this study was 105 farmers. The majority of farmers were male, their average age was 40.28 years with primary education level of grade 4. Their main occupation was rose production due to the higher income obtained within a short period of time. Average land owned 4.38 rai per family, and average family number was 5.21 members of which 2.72 members worked in the field. About 0.88 person of hired labor was used. Average total annual income was 129,316.80 baht per family. All farmers planted roses on rose beds and some planted potted roses. The Fusilier variety of indescent vermillion color group was the most popular variety. Most farmers gained their planting knowledge from their own experiences. Rooted layers were obtained from neighbours. Most farmers used rooted layer for planting. The highest production volume were found in the rainy season. The average production of the Fusilier rose was 4943.08 flowers every 2 days 441.67 rooted layers per week and 438.33 potted rose per week. The roses were sold mainly to men. The most important market for the Fusilier variety rose was the Paklong Tolad market. All farmers had problems about weeds, lack of technical knowledge in rose cultivation; insect and disease control, and fertilizer application was found to be an important problem.
