The article deals with the problems of the development of agriculture which is determined not only by political, legislative and economical, but also by social factors, the most significant of which are education and research. Integration possibilities for studies and research are discussed. The number of doctors in separate branches of sciences is mentioned. The scheme of the integration of Latvia agrarian sciences, studies and advisory services is presented for consideration.
