Preparations against mites causing a dangerous bee disease -varroasis are tested. Antivarroasis activity of various amitrase forms (beepine, tactik, apivarol AS, avartin) and synthetic fluvalinate pyrethroids (mavric, apistan) and flumetrin (bivarol) and effect of these preparations on bees are investigated. The preparations studied show pronounced antivarroasis effect. Amitrase smoke sprays obtained when combusting 1,25-62,5 mg of the preparation and fluvalinate (combustion of strips with 0,25-1,5 mg of acaricide) caused falling away in non-breeding shook swarms in summer 79,2-100% and 95,1-100% respectively. Efficiency of 0,00625% - aqueous beepine emulsion in bee families without breeding at temperature not lower than 3 degrees C with dosable treatment accounts for 99,3 +/- 0,2%, efficiency of 0,006% aqueous fluvalinate emulsion used under similar conditions accounts for 99,4 +/- 0,4%. Apistan and bivarol have high antivarroasis affect in bee families with breeding and without it. In late autumn their effect runs 99,9 +/- 0,05% and 99,97 +/- 0,02% respectively. No evident negative effect of preparations being studied on bee families is observed.
