This work describes a digital device used for counting rotations (per minute) of any working part of a machine. The probe of the counter is a magnetic transformer. The logic of the counter is composed so that the number of rotations can be read off the display. There is a possibility of setting the minimum and maximum number of rotations, while the device uses light and sound signals when the given limits are surpassed.
