Economics of agroforestry was concerned with the question of what levels of the resources and which combinations should be the most appropriate. A system was said to be effective if the maximum production in terms of sustained yield was gained from a minimum resource consumption together with optimal conservation. Such management might lead to different agroforestry systems.
