It was investigated the influence of the time of reating water on concentration of 6 heavy metals (Zn, Pb, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni) in aerobic active mud while purifying the model of milch waste water and some waste water charges in Agricultural combine "PKB" (SFRY) milk processing factory, and which mud component was the main factor of mentioned metals accumulation. The content of zinc, lead and chromium in the mud of the first aerator was mainly higher than in the mud of the second aerator; while the second aerator; while the concentration of manganese, ferrum and nicle was mainly higher in the mud of the second aerator. In dependance on apparatus working conditions, the concentracion of metals in the mud of the first, i.e. second aerator were moving within the following limits : Zn 171-1100, i.e. 270-960 mg/g; Pb 54-350/120-195; Cr 5-82/1-18; Mn 32-1020/50-2000; Fe 740-11000/500-4000; Ni 6-24 / 1-38 microgram / g of mud. The distinct dependences between the mentioned parameters were noticed mainly in the mud of the second aerator. Concentration of some metals was decreasing with the increasement of water retaining time. The basic factors of metal accumulation were nonlipid organic substance (Zn, Cr, Fe, Ni) and inorganic mud substance (Cr, Mn, Ni).
