It is investigated the spread of celoadenovirose at hens in organized poultry production. 15 parental and 13 grand parental flock generations of heavy pullet hybrids of different age, settled in a big poultry farm in SR Croatia (Yugoslavia) are investigated. The adenovirus infections are permanently present infectious diseases at flocks kept for breeding from heavy pullet hybrids, not only on parental, but also on grand parental line. In Yugoslavia the epizootic situation, taking into consideration the spread of adenovirose, needs permanent control and appliance of the specific immunoprophylaxis. Inactivating oil vaccine made of own CELO breed FAV-1, intramusculary applied to 18 week hens, stimulates in hens the sufficient quantity of specific precipitin and high titre of serum-neutral antibodies. The celoadenovirose vaccine anables the optimal functions of immunoproduced organs in hens, preventing the bad effects of other less pathogenic FAV breeds. In that way is enabled the forming of enough quantity of percipitin for Fabrician bursa infectious disease virus and is attained the equalized titer of HI antibody for Newcastle disease virus after specific vaccine appliance. Adenoviroses cause disfunction of immunoproducing organs and by that suppressive effect prevention from optimal immunity, nevertheless to indication for their appearance.
