Importance of accounting in an agricultural enterprise or on a farm is explained. Different functions of accounting are discussed: accounting as a source of information about the business for taking correct decisions, accounting as an instrument of control, etc. The role of accounting in the evaluation of the activity of an enterprise or a farm in case of a credit is analysed.
