Opalinski C. | Rojek B.
In Poland almost each year a large regional and temporal variation of precipitations relative to the optimum water demand for the cultivated plants is observed. Excess or deficiency of precipitations occurs usually on a part of the Polish territory and effects only some cultivated plants; therefore the economic effects of droughts and excessive rainfalls are not so acute. The most stable crops in Poland are given by rye, whereas potato crops exhibit the largest fluctuations. The livestock number per 100 hectares does not correlate with weather conditions, regional differences dominating here.
