The use of husk as a media component in durian budling. This experiment was conducted at SORIH from January until August 1990, to evaluate the effect of husk as a media component in durian budling. The experimental design used was Randomized Complete Block with 7 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments were; husk + manure (3:1), husk + manure (2:1), husk + manure (1:1), husk + manure (1:2), husk + manure (1:3), soil + manure (3:1) and soil only. The result showed that medium of manure + husk (1:1) gave higher plant height, number of leaf, stem diameter, root dry matter, stem and leaves dry matter, total dry matter before budding and shoot length after budding compared to other treatments.
