This study was conducted In "Cienega de Reyes", Mara County, Zulia State, Venezuela with 3 year old guava plant. In order to evaluate the effect of Nitrogen and of Potassium on fruit size, fruit weight and number of fruit by plant the application of fertilizers was carried out every four months, in circular band at a depth of 10 cm. The amount of N and K tested were 50 - 100 -150 and 200 g/plant/application of each one. Phosphorus fertilization was constant for all treatments. The experimental design was a randomized complete block with four replications. Urea (46% N), Triple Superphosphate (46 % P2O5) and Potassium Sulfate (50% K2O) were used as sources of Nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium respectively. Significant differences were found to nitrogen application for the fruit size, fruit weight and number of fruit. Also no effect of potassium on the variable studied was found.
