Cassava solid is waste from the tapioca industry and it has high carbohydrate (amylum) content but low palatability and cattle less like it. Fermented cassava is an alternative to change from low to high palatability. This study used 10 heads of local male sheep divided into 2 groups of 5 heads respectively. Group I was offered cassava solid not fermented and group II as group one but fermented. The experiment was compared to two treatments. Ten samples of rumen fluid from 10 sheep were collected every 5 days as 6 times and it was taken via mouth with stomach tube. Samples were analysed with the chemical method i.e. glucose, soluble protein, amino acids i.e. glycine and glutamic acid and NH3 contents. Data was tested with the t-test method. The results showed that glucose, soluble protein, amino acids and NH3 contents were not significant.
