A technical report examines some of the reported nutritional aspects of isomeric fats. Topics include: the characteristics of structural components of cell membranes; the role of isomeric fatty acids in membrane structure; and how arterial cells accumulate serum lipid components. Data on the effect of cis and trans fat on membrane fatty acid composition are included.(wz).
