Ressources naturelles et inventaires integres: la logique du possible.
1994
Rondeux J.
In order to manage natural resources efficiently, people need information on resources and their changes over time. Inventories are prerequisites for management decisions through all resource systems at the local, regional, national or international level. Data are commonly issued from resource specific inventories so that the resulting information may be incompatible or incomplete and redundant. Integrated inventories are inventories or systems of inventories designed to meet multilevel, multiresource or temporal needs. The objective of this paper is to present some guidelines for achieving integration and coordination which result in better data and collaboration between inventory specialists and users.
