Threshing injury on sweet corn seed was investigated. Threshing drum speed were adjusted at 4 levels namely: 300, 350, 400 and 550 revolutions per minute and 3 levels of seed moisture content were set at 10, 13 and 16 percent. The result showed that the use of a threshing machine reduced germination rate and seed vigor. The most suitable speed was at 400 revolutions per minute and 13 percent seed moisture content. Seed moisture at higher on lower than 13 percent will reduce seed storability. Tooth pegs covered by 2.5 mm thick plastic tubes did not reduce the damage on seed quality.
